Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask before letting NoThinkList think about groceries for them.

NoThinkList is free to download. The Free plan gives you up to 3 grocery lists, manual item add, and 1 saved recipe. The Premium plan adds unlimited lists, unlimited recipe imports, AI store-layout sorting, real-time shared lists, and more for $3.99/month. There's also a one-time Lifetime Premium option at $89.99.

No. Anyone can use NoThinkList. But the design choices (big buttons, simple screens, minimal steps) are all tuned for ADHD brains that get easily overwhelmed. If you like tools that feel light and obvious, you'll probably like it too.

NoThinkList is available now on the iOS App Store. Android is on the roadmap.

Notes gives you a plain list. NoThinkList gives you a brain. It turns recipe links and random "we're out of milk" thoughts into one aisle-organized list and helps you avoid forgotten items and duplicates. If all you want is a basic list, Notes works. If you want fewer trips and more money saved, use NoThinkList.

NoThinkList doesn't ask you to follow a complex system. You save recipes, add them to your grocery list, and check items off in the aisle. That's it. If your very first trip with the app isn't easier than your normal chaos, you can delete it and move on.

No. Setup takes under 3 minutes. You can start by pasting a recipe link, or just start adding items to your list. Either way you're ready for your next trip the same day.

NoThinkList works with many popular recipe blogs and cooking sites, but not every page on the internet. Some sites use unusual formats that are hard to read automatically. When parsing fails, you can edit or add ingredients manually. Your grocery list stays accurate either way.

You're always in control of the final list. You can edit items, change quantities, and add anything we missed before you shop. The app is a helper, not a black box. If something looks off, you can fix it in a few taps.

To cancel, go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > NoThinkList and tap Cancel Subscription. No emails, no support tickets, no guilt trip. When you cancel Premium, you still keep access to the basic free list.

We collect only what we need to run the app and improve it: your email for your account, basic usage analytics, and error reports. We don't sell your personal data. For details, check out the full Privacy Policy.

That's the goal. ADHD grocery chaos often means extra trips, forgotten ingredients, and duplicate buys. NoThinkList helps you reduce those leaks by keeping everything organized in one place and making it easy to see what you need before you shop.

An ADHD grocery list app is designed to reduce the mental load of shopping. Instead of making you remember everything, manage categories, and plan a route through the store yourself, it does that work for you. NoThinkList imports ingredients from recipes automatically, sorts your list by store aisle layout, and keeps everything in one place, so you spend less brainpower on the list and more energy on actually shopping.

Copy any recipe URL, open NoThinkList, tap the import button, and paste the link. The app reads the ingredients and adds them directly to your grocery list. You can review and edit the list before your trip. No typing individual ingredients required.

AnyList and OurGroceries are solid apps but built around manually organizing everything yourself. You still have to categorize items and maintain your list structure. NoThinkList automates the parts that are hardest for ADHD brains: it imports recipe ingredients from a URL (no typing), and it sorts your list by real store aisle layout using AI. The goal is fewer decisions, not more.

Yes. Premium subscribers can share a grocery list in real time. When your partner checks off milk in the store, it disappears from your screen instantly. No more buying duplicates because you didn't know they already grabbed it. Sharing works with any NoThinkList user. Just send them an invite link from inside the app.

Usually the problem isn't the list. It's how the list is organized. If you have to jump between dairy, produce, and frozen randomly, you'll miss things. NoThinkList sorts your list by aisle order, so you move through the store once without backtracking. That single change removes most forgotten items.

AI aisle sorting works with most major grocery chains including Walmart, Costco, Aldi, Target, Kroger, Safeway, Whole Foods, and more. You pick your store before you shop, and the app reorders your list to match that store's typical layout. If your specific location is slightly different, you can drag items to adjust.

Yes. Once your list is loaded, you can check items off in the store without an internet connection. Changes sync when you're back online. The only features that need a connection are recipe import (to fetch the recipe page) and real-time list sharing.
